City of London

lukeo01 | April 18, 2010Another cafe that I passed each day in the City of London. The first time I saw this I was a little shocked, a little excited and a little of where the hell am I. Advertised as the traditional British breakfast. Then realised the S is for Sausage and the M is for Mash. I laughed and felt a lot better.
My first jpgmag photo essay
lukeo01 | March 21, 2010During my last two years of travelling, I have stumbled on to many random and crazy events, including a few medieval festivals. One such festival was Jousting at Eltham Palace just outside of London. So one of my photographic projects has been to publish a photo essay in JPG Magazine for this. Have a look at the Photo Essay here, vote for me, comment and all that good stuff. I want to get published.
But here is a taste of the action.

Chocolate, steak and a pillow menu
lukeo01 | November 13, 2009A perfect weekend in Sydney.
Here are my Sydney recommendations:
Pancakes on the Rocks - 24hr Pancakes
Scooters, stubbies, a duck, a croc and a wave pool.
lukeo01 | November 3, 2009All in a Darwin weekend.
We started our Darwin trip with one simple goal: hovercraft in Darwin. So if you have seen the previous posts you have realised that there are no longer hovercrafts in Darwin. Which comes somewhat of a shock to me. But that small set back was not going to stop the adventure.
Replacement fun: start with scooter hire, follow with amphibious vehicle, throw in crocs at kakadu and finish with a wave pool and you have yourself a great weekend in Darwin.
This is not to say it went smoothly 100% of the time but that’s the adventure part. One of the obvious highlights was picking up the famous NT Stubby in the Darwin airport. I love Darwin and will certainly be back.
No hovercrafts in Darwin!
lukeo01 | October 31, 2009Houston! We have a problem in Darwin
lukeo01 | October 30, 2009We have a problem. The hovercraft place seems to have had their number disconnected. This is not good at all. Going to plan B. Rock up and hope for the best.
Adventure time - Darwin
lukeo01 | October 30, 2009Destination: Darwin
I’ve been gone from Australia for a long time, so what better way to get back into it than a trip to the Northern Territory. Although a very quick trip, I am sure I will be able to squeeze in a few beverages and see some of the area.
The itinerary so far:
• Kakadu national park
• Beers and lots of beers
• Hovercrafting
• Shooting
Stay tuned for wacky adventure. Starts in 1 hour.
